Here's the program for the Carlos Acosta show:
Carlos Acosta is the greatest ballet dancer of his generation. He is a principal dancer at Covent Garden; Tocororo, the show about his own life, that he wrote, choreographed and starred in, broke box office records at Sadler's Wells; and in his homeland of Cuba he is a national hero.
Renowned for combining Cuban passion with a remarkable technical virtuosity, watching Carlos Acosta dance is a breathtaking experience not to be missed. He is joined by renowned guest artists from The Royal Ballet; Zenaida Yanowsky, Sarah Lamb, Rupert Pennefather, Marianela Nuñez, José Martin, Mara Galeazzi, Thiago Soares, Caroline Duprot and Samantha Raine.

For this unique show, Carlos Acosta has chosen some of his favourite moments in classical ballet, including extracts from Balanchine's Agon, Bournonville's La Sylphide and Mikhail Fokine's Dying Swan. These are performed alongside contemporary works, including three UK premiere's by Ben Van Cauwenbergh and Georges Garcia.
The Royal Ballet Sinfonia under conductor Paul Murphy, will accompany the performances*.
* A Buenos Aires, Je ne regrette rien, Les Bourgeois and Nisi Dominus will be performed to recorded music.
